Wayne Lewis Rector

Wayne Lewis Rector (AKA WayneO MysteriO), 57, of Montezuma passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Union Hospital in Clinton.

He was born in Clinton, Indiana on July 18, 1968, to Ronald and Virginia (Flaurr) Rector who precede Wayne in death. Also preceding is his sister Linda Rector-Griffin.

Wayne enjoyed going fishing, mushroom hunting and collecting rocks. More than anything he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving is his brothers, Jerry L. Rector (Cathra Begle) of Bloomindale and Ron Rector (Tiffany) of Montezuma; sister, Brenda Honaker (Tim) of Rosedale; nieces and nephews, Tommy, Tonya, Brent, Rick, Timothy, Chelsie, Ronnie Jr., Leslie and Jim; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and three very special kids in his heart, Sydni, Koltin, and Brittany.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to his work family at Specialty Rim Supply as well as all his close friends that have helped during this time.

Honoring Wayne’s wishes cremation has been chosen. Visitation will be at Brown-Mack Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. There will be no service.
