Ruth E. Wilburn Harvey, 71, of Brazil, formerly of Montezuma, died at 4:25 am on March 19, 2018, at Community East in Indianapolis.
She was born February 2, 1947, in Montezuma, to William Wilburn and Josephine Peterson Wilburn.
She was a homemaker and formerly worked at MCL as a server.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles Harvey. Also preceding her in death was a brother, Jack Wilburn and her 3 sisters: Dorothy Watson, Thelma George, and Barbara Hurst.
She is survived by 3 children; Emili and Chad Campbell of Danville, IN, Rick and Erin McClain of Avon, and Bill McClain of Montezuma; 6 grandchildren, Billie and Logan McClain, Jacob Straw, Emma McClain, Ella McClain, Dalton Campbell, and Cameron Campbell; 4 great-grandchildren, Carter Swaim, Leyla Swaim, Waylon Cassidy, and William Cassidy; 1 sister, Alberta Leverenz of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 to 8 pm at Brown-Mack Funeral Home in Montezuma. Funeral services will be at 11 am at the Independent Baptist Church in Montezuma with visitation form 10 am to 11 prior to the services. Rev. Keith McIntyre will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
