Roy M. Lawson, 79, of Montezuma, died at 4:39 pm in St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital on March 23rd.  He was born January 8, 1936 in Montezuma to Herman Lawson and Mary Jackman Lawson.
He had been a grocery store manager at the Montezuma IGA and Clinton IGA and also was a manager of a 7/11 store in Colorado.  He was a lifetime member of the Odd Fellows in Arveda, CO.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lois Lawson.  He was a 1954 graduate of Marshall High School in Marshall, IN.  
He is survived by one brother, Paul and Peggy Lawson of Lafayette, three sisters, Eleanor and Bud Girt of Anderson, IN., Sharon and Les Scott of Montezuma, and Karen and Darrell Morton of Anderson, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4-8 on Friday, March 27th and services will be 1 pm Saturday, both at Brown-Mack Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.  Online condolences can be made at www.brownmackfuneralhome.com.
