Ronnie James Baumann

Ronnie James Baumann, 88, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at his home in Montezuma.

He was born in Montezuma, Indiana on May 2, 1936, to James Baumann and Sarah Jarvis Baumann who precede Ronnie in death. Also preceding him is an infant grandson.

Ronnie is survived by his wife Linda (Allan) Baumann whom he married on October 9, 1955, in Newport, Indiana; daughters Rhonda Harraghy, Andrea Murdock and Christina Baumann; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Ronnie was in the United States Navy serving his country during the Korean War. He worked as a maintenance supervisor at the Newport Army Chemical Plant. Ronnie was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Order of the Eastern Star, Amvets and Masonic Lodge Parke #8.

Honoring Ronnie’s wishes cremation was chosen. There will be no service. Final arrangements have been entrusted to Brown-Mack Funeral Home.
