Robert J Taylor, 81, of Montezuma, passed away at home on Monday November 27, 2023.
He was born in Williamsburg, Kentucky on March 3, 1942, to Raymond Taylor and Ethel Morton.
Robert loved old cars and going fishing. He was a member of the National Oldsmobile Club and Street Machine Nationals.
Those preceding Robert in death are his father, son John Taylor, and brother Ron Taylor.
Robert is survived by his mother Ethel Taylor of Clinton, TN., wife Virginia (Ratcliff) Taylor of Montezuma, sons Robert Taylor and Ron Taylor both of Tennessee, stepchildren Bobby Mathas of Montezuma, Lib Payne (Eric) of Veedersburg, and Tessa Ratcliff (Jake Lambert) of Montezuma, several grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen. Visitation will be at the Independent Baptist Church in Montezuma on Friday December 15, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00pm. Service at 4:00pm with Rev. Keith McIntyre officiating.
