Paula Padgett, 71, of Montezuma, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at her residence.
She was born on August 22, 1950, in Vermillion County to Frank Campbell and Alice Gill Campbell.
Paula was a seamstress and homemaker. She married the love of her life, Donald on October 7, 1969. She was also a member of Westside Christian Church and Bunco Club.
Paula is preceded in death by both parents; by her loving husband, Donald Pagett; sister, Holly Vandevender; granddaughters, Melissa Martin, and Angel Nester.
She is survived by children, Jackie (Bill) Martin, Dirk (Bert) Padgett, Debbie Sullivan, Rick (Renee) Padgett, Lorn Padgett; siblings, Joe (Connie) Campbell of Montezuma, Dink (Terri) Allen of Montezuma, Teddy (Lisa) Allen of Montezuma, Jessie (Debbie) Allen of Montezuma, Marlena Hunt of Clinton, Rocky (Lori) Miller of Grovertown, Billy (Ava) Miller of Lake Station, Gary Allen of Indianapolis, Perry Allen of Indianapolis, Terry Allen of Rosedale, Lisa Foster of Frankfort, Kentucky, Chuck (Anita) Allen; grandchildren, Stephanie (Zach) Kelley, Ryan Martin, Brittany (James) McCowen, Catie (Chase) Martin; five great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Paula will be held from 4pm to 8pm, Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Brown-Mack Funeral Home in Montezuma. Services will be 11am on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, also at the funeral home, with Rev. Chris Wilber officiating. Burial at Oakland Cemetery in Montezuma will follow services.
