Milton "SHiNE" Lee Baird

Milton Lee “SHiNE” Baird, 70 of Hillsdale passed away on Wednesday October 30, 2024, at Union Hospital in Clinton.

Milton was born in Roanoke Rapids, NC on October 16, 1954, to Thomas Baird and Gertie Williams Baird who precede him in death. He was a Union Electrician starting his career with IBEW Local 553 in North Carolina and retiring out of IBEW Local 5.18.

Those left behind to remember Milton are his wife Candy Baird of Hillsdale, children: Wyatt Layton Baird of Local 816, Casey Leigh Barid (Tommy) of Roanoke Rapids, NC., Katie Rae Sidlosky (Cahlin) of Roanoke Rapids, NC., Virgil Allen Ryan (Dawn) of Hillsdale, and Laura Jane Baird of Montezuma; brother Tommy Baird (Joyce) of Roanoke Rapids, NC., sister Louise Fields (Eddie) of Roanoke Rapids,  NC., grandson Kade Sidlosky, granddaughters Jade Scott (Nick), Sean Fisher, Avrie McCarthy; great-granddaughter Finley Scott and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation has been Chosen. There will be a visitation at Brown-Mack Funeral Home on Wednesday November 6, 2024, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. with pastor Keith McIntyre officiating. Cremains burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Montezuma.
