Maxine (Lewis) Hendrix

Maxine Hendrix, 97, formerly of Dana,  of Terre Haute, died at 7:42 pm on Friday, June 5th, 2015 in Meadows Manor North.
She was born June 19th, 1917 in Dana to George Lewis and Anna Hipshir Lewis.
She owned and operated her own beauty shop in Dana for many years. She was a member of the Dana Baptist Church, the 49ers Club, and the Home Ec Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack Hendrix and one sister, Marzelle Naylor.
She is survived by three nieces, Ann Stanley of Montezuma, Kay and Paul Houze of Montezuma, and Sara and John Scott of Port Richie, FL; two nephews, Neal and Viola Hendrix of Dana and Max and Madlyn Hendrix of  Dana; several great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10-11 on Tuesday in the Bono Cemetary Chapel. Services will begin at 11 with Brown-Mack in charge of arrangements. Online condolences can be made at www.brownmackfuneralhome.com.
