Martin "Jake" E Murrell

Martin “Jake” E. Murrell, 89, of Montezuma, died at 8:52 AM February 12, 2017 at Rockville Nursing and Rehab.  He was born January 23, 1928 Martin B. Murrell and Retta Izora Hutson Murrell.  He was a retired telegraph operator for the Milwaukee and Sioux Railroad.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Peggy Murrell.
He is survived by his brother-in-law, Curtis and Filipa Wilkins of Crawfordsville; and one cousin Nancy Jeffries of Illinois.  
Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Montezuma.  There are no services or visitation.
