Kenneth Ray “Pete” Pollard he was 75 years old of Arcola, IL formally Parke County. He died at 1:57pm January 25, 2015 in Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL.
He was born February 4, 1939 in Wabash Township to Orville Lessie (Harney). He had worked at Stran Steel. He was a United States Army veteran and also a 1957 graduate of Mecca Highschool.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Dollie (Powell) Pollard, two brothers Richard Pollard and Robert Pollard, and two sisters Barbara Pollard and Patricia (Pollard) Market.
He is survived by his three daughters of Clinton Wendi (Lee) Hinesley, Jennifer (Jeff) Winland, and Lori (Craig) Hedden. Eight grandchildren Bradley Hoggatt, Brenna Hoggatt, Ashley Winland, Michael Winland, Matthew Windland, Masen Winland, Gracie Hedden, and James L. Hedden. One sister of Loreeta Thomas of Terre Haute and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation was chosen. Memorial services will be 11 am Saturday at Oakland Cemetery Chapel with Reverend Keith McIntyre officiating. Military honors will be performed by Parke County Veterans Organizations. Online condolences can be made at www.brownmackfuneralhome.com
