James “Jim” Pearman, 73, of Terre Haute, died at 9:51 pm on October 3, 2016 in St. Vincent Hospital Indianapolis. He was born September 5, 1943 to Frank Pearman and Lorena Middlebrook Pearman.
He was a retired printing operator at RR Donnelly. He was a US Army Veteran, a member of the Masonic Lodge, and a Mecca Volunteer Fireman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Leslie Pearman; two brothers, Tom and Neil Pearman; and one nephew, Ryan Clark.
He is survived by his wife, Bertha Crowder Pearman; three daughters, Symantha and Justin Wilburn, Debbie and Rick Short, and Lisa and Jimetta Mankin; four sons, Terry and Jody Pearman, Mark and Gerri Pearman, Michael and Anita Pearman, and Brian and Susan Mankin; grandchildren, Jessica Pearman, Sarah Landrum, Eric Landrum, Grant Landrum, John Pearman, Megan Pearman, Benjamin Pearman, Thomas Pearman, Jacob Pearman, Samuel Pearman, Brittany Pearman, Bethany Pearman, Natalie Pearman, Trenton Short, Brittany Short, Nicci Goldner, Mandy Snyder, Zachary Goldner, Cory Mankin, and Jack Mankin; great-grandchildren, Carmon, Camdyn, Eli, Bleighton, DJ, Aubrie, Paige, Marie, and Carson; and a sister, Dawn Rae Capps.
Visitation will be 11-1 on Saturday at Brown-Mack Funeral Home. Services will begin at 1. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Masonic Services will be held at 1 with services to follow. Military honors will be performed.
