James “Jim” Dickerson, 78, of Montezuma, passed away Sunday, September 26th, 2021 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.
Jim was born in Crawfordsville, Indiana to Robert and Minnie Mae Delores Love Dickerson on July 17th, 1943.
Jim was formerly a member of Montezuma Fire Department, being involved for over 20 years. He was also a member of the N.R.A. Jim was retired from Panhandle Eastern Pipeline.
He is preceded in death by both parents and one son, Timothy Allen Dickerson, who passed away June 12th, 2008.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Linda “Kay” Dickerson of Montezuma; children, Tammy Guoli (Tom) of Montezuma, and Jeff Dickerson (Kim) of North Terre Haute; siblings, Jerry Dickerson (Kay) of Florida, and Anita Crowder (Bill) of Rockville; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation services will be Friday, October 1, 2021, at Brown-Mack Funeral Home in Montezuma, from 11am to 1pm. A graveside service will begin after the visitation at Oakland Cemetery, in the chapel, with Rev. Keith McIntyre officiating.
The family prefers that those attending please wear a mask.
