Brown-Mack Funeral Home

Jack S. Brown, 95, of Hillsdale, died March 15, 2022, at Gibson Family Hospice.  He was born April 6, 1926, in Clinton to Ernest Brown and Blanche Davis Brown.  He retired from being a rural mail carrier and farmer.  He attended Hillsdale High School and was also a WWII US Navy Veteran.  He had served as commissioner of the Hillsdale Water Board.  He was also a Ham radio operator and loved golfing, fishing, and camping. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter and grandson, Christine and Brett Norton.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Jane Brown; one son, David and Susan Brown; three grandchildren, Mark Brown, Lauri and Joe Ellis, and Kimberly and Kevin McMahan; and six great-grandchildren, Gracie, Emalyn, Mason, Audrey, Hannah, and Lauren.

Visitation will be 11:00-1:00 on Monday, at Brown-Mack Funeral Home.  Services will begin at 1:00 with Reverend Leon Myers officiating.  Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.  Military honors will be performed.  Online condolences may be made at www.brownmackfuneralhome.com.
