Helen F (Baugues) York

Helen F. York, 93, of Montezuma, died March, 3, 2017 in Rockville Nursing and Rehab at 3:31 AM.  She was born February 27, 1924 in Bono to William Baugues and Edith Ashley Baugues.
She retired from Ruben Donnelly as a clerk.  She was the secretary for the Emmanuel United Methodist Church in West Terre Haute for several years.  
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James “Shorty” York; one son, Bill York; a sister, Myrtle Chambers; a granddaughter, Jamie Rumple; son-in-law, Jim Rumple; and great-grandchildren, Jeremiah and Layla Maloney.
She is survived by her daughter, Margie Rumple of Montezuma; daughter-in-law, Penny York of New Goshen; two grandchildren, Shelly Kelley and Chad York; four great-grandchildren, Lynnea Rusk, Heston Maloney, Koti York, and Jameson Kelley; three great-great-grandchildren, Elsie, Elliott, and Audrey.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 1-2 PM at the Bono Chapel.  Services will begin at 2 PM with Reverend Bob Roush officiating.  Burial will be in Bono Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made at www.brownmackfuneralhome.com.
