Ernest Secuskie, Sr. of Camby and formerly of Montezuma, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019.
He was born in Muncie, IN on March 11, 1947, to Tophel Sr. and Tressie Phillips Secuskie.
He was a boilermaker and retired in 2002. Ernie also was an US Army veteran of the Viet Nam War era. He like fishing, boating, and traveling.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister Laurel Whitaker; and a brother Tophel Secuskie, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Marka Rennick Secuskie; three sons, Ernest Jr. of Camby, Casey (Tasha) of Greenwood, and Matthew of Camby; a sister, Linda Varvel of Clinton; six grandchildren, Alexis, Evelyn Rashel, Tylynn, Baylee, Gabriana, and Brynn; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 11 am to 1:30 pm at Brown-Mack Funeral Home in Montezuma. Funeral services will follow at 1:30 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Keith McIntyre officiating. Military rites will be performed. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery in Montezuma.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Kindred Hospice or Parkinson’s Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
