Donald L. Padgett, 80, of Montezuma, died March 22, 2018, at 4:20 PM in his residence. He was born June 4, 1937 in Rockville to Clarel Padgett and Dorthory Grimm Padgett.
He was retired from the Operating Engineers #841 and a member of Mecca Christian Church. He attended West Side Christian Church in West Terre Haute.
He is survived by his wife, Paula K. Campbell Padgett, whom he married October 7,1969 in Rockville; three sons, Dirk Padgett and wife, Bert of Plant City, FL Rick Padgett and wife, Renee of Oceola, IN, and Lorn Padgett and wife, Connie of Palm Bay, FL; two daughters, Jackie Padgett-Martin and husband, Bill of West Terre Haute and Deborah Padgett of Zephyr Hills, FL; four grandsons; three granddaughters; 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Sharon Butcher of Terre Haute; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father; one granddaughter; one brother; and two nephews.
Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Friday at Brown-Mack Funeral Home. Services will be 11 AM on Saturday at Brown-Mack Funeral Home, with Reverend Chris Wilbur officiating, with visitation from 10-11 AM. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
