Brenda Sue Koch, 68, of Bloomingdale, died December 2, 2017 at 10:44 PM at Union Hospital Terre Haute. She was born November 18, 1949 in Clinton, to Carl Edward Griffin and Eva Sophia Smith Griffin.
She had been a supervisor at Dormeyer and Raybestos. She collected bears and loved doing puzzles. She loved to play bingo and yahtzee. She also loved her dogs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill A. Koch, whom she married May 1. 1968; a sister, Sherry; and a sister-in-law, Sonnie Griffin.
She is survived by one son, Jim and Diane Koch of Bloomingdale; one daughter, Sue and Chris Simpson of Rockville; her companion, Charlie Shelton of Bloomingdale; two sisters, Karen and Lanie Johnson and Cheryl White; two brothers, Lee Griffin and Richard Griffin; nine grandchildren, Diona Baird, Aaron Koch, Kyla Koch, Kala Koch, Tiffany and Jake Harper, Justin Reagan, Chelsey Koch, Kevin Simpson, and Christopher Simpson; and one great-granddaughter, Satie.
Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 PM at Brown-Mack Funeral Home. Cremation will follow visitation. Online condolences may be made at www.brownmackfuneralhome.com.
