Billy Joe Britton, 56, of Kingman, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2021 in his residence.
He was born in Clinton, Indiana on May 14, 1965 to Harold And Inez Peveler Britton.
Billy Joe was part of the Laborer’s Local 204. He thoroughly enjoyed cooking. He had green thumb, loving gardening. Being outdoors brought him splendor. There was nothing he loved more than his family.
Billy Joe was preceded in death by both parents; brothers, Randy Britton, Jack Britton, Jim Hughes, and John Wayne Buker; nephew, Mike Britton.
He was survived by children, Joe Britton of Charleston, Russell Britton (Zoie Rogers) of Paris, IL, and Ashley (Brogan) Bougher of Kingman; brother, Greg Hughes (Chris) of Terre Haute; sisters, Joyce Harrison (George) of Arkabutla, MS, Jennifer Harber (Joe) of Bradenton, FL, Margaret Butterfield of Bradenton, FL, and Carla Welke (Dave) of Sarasota, FL; one grandson, Ryker Joe Hutchison; former wife, Darcy Drake of Charleston, and his close pal, his dog, Rex.
Visitation for Billy Joe will be held from 5pm until 7pm, Monday, October 4, 2021, at Brown-Mack Funeral Home in Montezuma; funeral services beginning at 7pm with Rev. Keith McIntyre officiating.
Cremation was chosen.
