Betty L. Gill, 88, of Montezuma, died 11 AM, Saturday April 14, 2018, in her residence.
She was born March 12, 1930, in Montezuma, to Willard Keller and Louella Morris Keller. She had worked at the cafeteria at the Montezuma Elementary School. She was a former member of the Montezuma Ladies Auxiliary Fire Department.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert V. Gill; two sons, Danny Ray Gill and Donald Wayne Gill; three brothers, James Keller, Ed Keller, and Bob Keller; one sister, Nancy Keller Sowers; and son-in-law, Raymond Bockhold.
She is survived by three children, Sandra L. and Darrell Borders of Montezuma, Robert D. and Sharon K. Gill of Montezuma, and Debra A. Bockhold of Montezuma; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister, Dora Koma of Montezuma; three brothers, Donald Keller of Montezuma, Larry Keller of Montezuma, and Dick Keller of Cayuga; three sisters in-law, Alice Miller of Montezuma, Pat Hutson of Mulberry, IN, and Ursula Keller of Rockville; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4-8 PM on Tuesday at Brown-Mack Funeral Home. Services will be Wednesday at 11 AM at Brown-Mack, with Reverend Keith McIntyre officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Montezuma. Online condolences may be made at www.brownmackfuneralhome.com.
