Anita L. (Taylor) Rohr

Anita L. Rohr, 82 of Clinton (formerly of Montezuma) passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025. Born in Brazil, Indiana on October 3, 1942, to Arthur and Virginia (Woody) Taylor. She married Larry Rohr, August 25, 1962, in West Union Indiana. They shared 46 years until his death in December 2008.

Anita was a 1960 graduate of Turkey Run High School. Following graduation, she attended college in Elkhart, IN, graduating with a Medical Secretary degree. Anita worked for the Parke County Sheriff’s Department for 8 years, she served as Parke County Assessor for 12 years and retired from Parson’s at the Newport Chemical Depot.

Anita is survived by her son Anthony (Jodi) Rohr of Montezuma; daughter, Kelli Rohr of Rockville; sister Marian “Sue” (Jim) Hale of Rochester, IN, grandsons: Jared (Alexandria) Rohr, Rockville and Capt. Heath (Samantha) Rohr, Clovis, NM; 3 great-granddaughters and 2 step great-granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.

She is proceeded in death by her parents and a daughter, Cindy Rohr.

Visitation will be at Brown-Mack Funeral Home on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 4:00-7:00pm and Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 10:00 am-12:00pm. Services at 12:00pm with Rev. Greg Goodrick officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Montezuma Christian Church, the Parke-Vermillion Humane Society, or the Parke-Vermillion FOP #167 in memory of Anita.
