Allan (Al) Lambert
Montezuma, IN
July 27, 1957 – May 5, 2023
Al Lambert, 65, of Montezuma, IN passed away Friday evening, May 5, 2023, at his residence.
Born July 27, 1957, in Kentucky, he was the son of Ed Lambert and Ruby Arnold Lambert.
Al was a self-employed Logger and owner of Al Lambert Logging. He was a complete master of his profession.
Al was just one of those guys that never met a stranger. He could talk for hours with anyone about anything. He loved going to auctions, swap meets, car shows and drag races. His passion was Ford Mustangs. The man could look at any single car part and tell you exactly what year and type of Mustang it belonged to.
Al had recently begun rebuilding a motor for one of his vintage mustangs and was excited to see it run again. Al also spent countless hours at his sawmill and had started to build his dream cabin. No doubt, that cabin would withstand any amount of weather as it was built solid and strong!
Al loved his family, both immediate family and extended family. His true soft spot was for his grandkids and great grandkids. They had the biggest part of his heart, and it showed through his love for them.
Al was preceded in death by both parents and two brothers, Roger, and Mitchell.
Survivors include his children, Totie and Jake, his grandchildren Jeannie, Sidney, Cole and Jacob, his great grandchildren Elouise and Weston. His brothers Gary, Ervin, James (Tammy), Billy and Paul.
Al requested cremation which is being handled by Brown-Mack Funeral Home. A visitation has been scheduled for Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until noon at Brown-Mack Funeral Home in Montezuma, IN.
