Kimberly Anne Carroll, 56, of Bloomington, IN, passed away, surrounded by family, on December 19, 2017 at Franciscan Health Lafayette East in Lafayette, IN.  Kim was born January 13 ,1961 in East Chicago, IN to Verne Ray and Martha Rennick Carroll.  
She was a 1979 graduate of Montezuma High School and earned her accounting degree from Ivy Tech.  
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister-in-law, Melissa Carroll.
She is survived by one daughter, Shawna (John) Douglas of Bloomington; one son, Dylan Fox of Bloomington; two brothers, Tim Carroll of Burlington, NC and Tony Carroll of Terre Haute; one sister, Debra (Kevin) Kessinger of Waynetown, IN; three grandchildren, Jordyn Kimmel, Jaydan Dixon, and Blaze Matlock; nephews, Christopher (Beth) Kessinger of Carlisle, PA and Travis Carroll of Burlington, NC; nieces, Kaysha (Chris) Bonwell of Darlington, IN and Sarah (Sean Tyrell) Kessinger of Waynetown; plus numerous great-nephews, great-nieces, uncles aunts, and cousins.  
Kim was a member of the Southside Christian Church in Bloomington.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, her chihuahua companion, Charlie, and frequenting thrift shops, yard sales, and flea markets.  Though Kim lost her battle with cancer, she will always be admired for her courage and her perseverance.  She will greatly be missed by family and friends.
Visitation will be from 2-4 PM on Saturday at Brown-Mack Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Guoli officiating.  Cremation will follow services.  Online condolences may be made at

To Tony and the rest of the Carroll Family!

For you my friend’s I offer all my condolence wishes for the untimely loss of your sweet Sister, mother and grandmother, my dear friend Kim. I pray to the Lord to bless you with the strength to cope up with the loss.
We are never ready to hear news such as this, but I have many fond memories of Kim and nothing will ever take that from me. I k kw God has you all i the palm of his hand.
